Author's Note: Okay, get ready this is a long one. It took up 11 1/2
pages (11 pages front & back)on wide-ruled paper and took almost a
day. My others only took an hour or two. This story finishes up the
trilogy "Everyone," starting with "Almost Everyone." (Hence the name.)
Feedback: Yes please! And thanks for the lovely comments on my other
two.

It had been almost a decade since Jake Pratt had left Rawley. She now
had finished college and had become the CEO of Pratt, INC., a company
dedicated to designing software to protect the computer from hackers.

She received an envelope one day with the Rawley emblem in the
corner. Quickly, she ripped it open and one piece of paper fell out.
Reading it, it said:

Dear Summer Session of 2000:
You are invited to a reunion of your classmates and yourself.
Date: Saturday, August 31
Location: Rawley Academy
Time: 11am - 5pm
RSVP: by August 20 621-3808 & ask for Mrs.Fleming
Sincerely,
Rawley Academy

Jake gasped, this would be a chance to see everyone. The memories
came flooding back. When she left, she purposely forgot them, but
now...

Slowly, she picked up the phone and dialed the number.

"Hello, Rawley Academy, Dean Fleming speaking."

Oh my god, Jake thought, "This is Jaqueline Pratt. May I please speak
to Mrs.Fleming regarding the reunion?"

"Hello Ms.Pratt, just a moment."

"Yes this is Mrs.Fleming," a voice said seconds later.

"Hello Mrs.Fleming. This is Jake, um, Jaqueline Pratt. I am able to
attend the reunion of for Summer Session of 2000 on the 31st."

"Excellent Jaqueline. Wait... did you say Pratt? Jake Pratt? My son
was hearbroken after you left."

"Oh, um, Mrs.Fleming? Is Hamilton going to be there?" It was a stupid
question, but she wanted to know for sure.

"Why yes, of course, he is."

"Thank you, I'll see you the 31st then," Jake replied, fighting to
keep her voice from trembling.

"Goodbye dear"

Hamilton stepped out of his car at the gas station in New Rawley. He
was greeted by Bella Banks, who ran out and embraced him.

"Hamilton! How are you? Here for the reunion? Why of course. Will's
staying at his parents and Scout's staying here. Where are you
staying?"

"With the parentals. They're still at Rawley. Have you seen anyone
else yet?" He managed a small smile.

"Ohh... I see," Bella grinned knowingly. "No I haven't seen Jake
around yet. She is coming though. She called a week or two ago." Out
of the five, Jake only kept in touch with Bella. "I'll call you when
I see her though."

"Thanks Bella," replied Hamilton. "I'll come by later to see Scout
and Will."

Hamilton drove on, lost in thought. Then he wondered, where was Jake
staying? Hurriedly, he did a U-Turn back to Bella's. Scout came back
out to see Hamilton.

"Back already? How's it goin' Ham?" he questioned his distraught
friend.

"Hey Scout. I need to ask Bella another question."

"Yes?" asked Bella, as she came out.

"Where's Jake staying?"

"Silly, with me of course."

"Okay. Thanks guys. See ya later." Hamilton drove off, heading to
Rawley. He greeted his mother and went to drop his bags in his room.
He looked around and all memories forgotten came flooding back. He
had forgotten everything when he went to college and became someone
else.

He went back out to see his mother. "Hi Mom."

"Hey Munchie." she replied.

Groaning, "Aww Mom, lay off the Munchie. I'm almost 26! Where's Dad?

"Where else? In the office, as usual."

Instead of going down to see his father, he headed down to the dock.

Both Jake and Hamilton wondered how each would feel to see the other.
They didn't know what had happened during the missing part of their
life.

One thing they had in common, no one had had a serious relationship
in the span of ten years. They couldn't find the right person, and
both eventually gave up.

The day of the reunion, everyone was gathered on the lawn where the
dean greeted them.

"Many of you remember me. I would like to welcome you to the Summer
Session of 2000's reunion." Everyone appluaded and broke into little
groups.

Hamilton had already seen Will and Scout, but not Jake.

"Hi boy," a voice behind Hamilton said. He remembered it. Husky, and
oh so lovely, at one point it was his favorite sound in the whole
world. It still was.

He turned around. "..." The word got lost in his throat as he gazed
at his ex-girlfriend's beauty. Her hair was up in a french twist and
she wore a very becoming chocolate brown dress. One that was very
familiar. All he could say was, "Wow."

"Really?" She grinned at her ex-boyrfriend. "I am starting to
remember this conversation."

"Me too," he finally got out, "So how've you been?"

Her smile flickered, "Okay, a little lonely, but fine. What about
you?" Her hazel eyes searched his piercing blue ones.

"The same... have you had any relationships? serious ones? I'm just
curious..."

"Actually, no," Jake looked away. "The only guy I've ever had a
relationship with was you." She paused, "And you? How are you doing?"

Hamilton almost felt joy, for he still loved her. "Me? No, I haven't
met anyone either since you," he said as calmly as possible.

"Oh"

"Let's take a walk. Get away from these people," he suggested to her.
He stared at her. She had become even more beautiful.

"What?" she asked him after she had caught him staring.

With a slight smile, "Nothing."

The ex-couple walked down to the dock where they used to hang out
years ago. Looking at the dock, both reminisced the good times they
had had there.

"So, where are you staying Munchie?" Jake grinned at Hamilton.

Groaning again, "With my parents. I get my old room."

"Oh."

"If you'd like, maybe we could go out to dinner sometime. How long
are you staying?"

Jake thought about that. If she said yes, they'd be alone, and thats
what she wanted. But it would bring back the memories. Still... "I'm
leaving the day after tomorrow." Pausing again, "Yeah, why not? Where
do you want to go? I don't have my bike though." She grinned.

"How about where we went for our first date? And I'm asking you this
time."

"Okay."

"Meet you at the gas station at 7."

"Cool." She smiled shyly at him.

* * * * * * * * *

I hope this goes all right, Jake though as she was getting ready. She
stood in front of a mirror while Bella watched her. Jake wore an
angle length, flowing navy blue dress with a small pearl necklace.

"Good luck," Bella told her friend as she could sense what was going
on.

Jake turned around and smiled at the woman on her bed. She remembered
the times they had together. "I'll telly ou about it when I get back."

* * * * * * * * *

Five hours later, Jake arrived back.

"How was it?" she was greeted by the question as she stepped in.
Bella and Scout were both there.

"Romantic," Jake murmured. A moonstruck expression slid over her
features. Then she looked at Scout and nodded her head at him to
Bella. Bella got the hint.

"Um, Scout. Why don't you go to Will's house?"

"Oh, kay," Scout headed out.

"So Jake," Bella smiled at her friend, "Have fun?"

"Better then I expected. We drove to the restaurant, then we took a
moonlight walk." Jake told her friend the basics, but she left out
the most important thing.

She told Bella, "I'm going to my room now. Good night."

"'Night Jake."

Once in her room, Jake though about the lovely time she really had.
Smiling to herself, she though of their first kiss, then of the kiss
they had just shared after ten long years.

She lay on her bed, not wanting to sleep for fear she'd lose the feel
of Hamilton's touch. It had been her favorite feeling back then, and
now, she realized it still was.

* * * * * * * * *

Hamilton paced his room, thinking of his date with Jake a few hours
ago. It was the most wonderful thing that had happened to him for
about ten years.

*flashback*

Jake had left earlier that day, and Dean Fleming had called a special
assembly on the front lawn. FOr what, nobody knew except Hamilton,
Scout, and Will.

"Attention. One of your fellow students left this morning. Jaqueline
Pratt, under the alias of Jake Pratt, informed me she was a girl,
posing as a guy. For further questions, I suggest you go see Hamilton
Fleming, Scout Calhoun, or Will Krudski. Thank you. That is all."

The student body stood shock still, not moving. They were astonished
the small lanky guy seen around campus was actually a girl.

Hamilton stood there, along with Scout and Will, fighting back tears.
Jake was gone, and he doubted he'd ever see her again.

*end flashback*

All that time, he wondered where she was. And now, she was here. No
serious relationships... He wondered if she still loved him, because
he still did. He didn't want to call her in fear it would wake yp
everyone. He would drive over tomorrow morning. Unwillingly, he felt
himself slipping info the slumber of tomorrow.

* * * * * * * * *

Jake was woken the next day by Bella shouting. Fumbling, she looked
at the clock and groaned. 8:53 am. She was supposed to attend a video
conference through her laptop in seven minutes.

"Hamilton's here," Bella called again.

"Oh jeez. Its not even nine yet," she mumbled aloud.

Hurriedly, she went over to her bags and grabbed a fitted baby tee
and khaki capris. Running down the stairs, she was greeted by Bella
and Hamilton's back.

"Good morning sleepyhead."

"Yeah well, it was a good thing you woke me. I have a conference in,"
she looked at her watch, "Oh shit, three minutes! Do you have a plug
or anything?"

"Here," Bella quickly showed her the outlet and Jake ran up to get
her stuff.

The meeting lasted 30 minutes. Everything was in order.

"So Hamilton, whatcha doin' here so early?"

"I came by to see you. You only have one and a half more days here."

"Well... if you're pertaining to the fact that I only have one and
half more days with you, why don't you just say so?" A small smile
played on Jake's lips, ones that she wanted Hamilton to kiss so
much. "You never told me, when are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow, too."

"Oh."

* * * * * * * * *

Later that day, after the two had spent time talking while drifting
around Rawley Lake, Jake asked, "So, you know what I do and that I
live in Chicago, what do you do?"

"Oh, I'm a photographer like I've always wanted to be. My studio is
in NYC, but I travel around." He paused, "Would you like to come with
me?"

Jake looked up, clearly astonished. "Well, I do have work, but..."
her sentence trailed off.

"This shoot is only for five days in Paris."

"Okay, I guess so. Why not?"

Hamilton grinned, happy. "We can leave tomorrow okay? Catch a plane
from NYC?"

Jake smiled, this wasn't the Hamilton she had known. Now he was more
self-assured and confident.

Their lips met again, telling each this was the right thing to do.

*two years later*

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The
priest smiled at the happy couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Fleming smiled as they walked down the aisle.
Jake was smiling inside too, for everything had fallen into place and
she was in heaven, with her man.

The End
